Liberty Harbor Academy

Liberty Harbor Academy is a private high school in Manchester, NH that teaches competency for life, not just facts.

LHA seeks to train the willing and capable student (even if they are falling short of their potential) with a classical education and hands-on community experience that will allow all our graduates to take their place in the adult world, whether it be college, business, trade, or some other avenue. We are a very different kind of high school, graduating students when they demonstrate competence and self-responsibility, not just when they have fulfilled the hour requirements. We use primary sources rather than textbooks, and every student meets with their advisor (in a small group setting) every day. Homework is done at school where the professors are able to answer questions rather than hope the parents have the time to figure it out. In short, we do what ever is necessary to educate.
