It is the mission of Lively Minds Tutoring to provide dedicated and focused tutoring in order to foster academic strengths, cultivate effective study skills, and instill a genuine confidence built on achievement. We are dedicated to giving students individualized instruction to help them overcome the obstacles that are preventing them from achieving greatness.We believe that every child’s mind is capable of amazing accomplishments based on his or her own unique set of strengths. As a result, we maintain high expectations of our students because we want them to know that we believe that they are capable. It has been our experience that students gain confidence and genuine self-esteem from the sense of accomplishment that comes from dedication, perseverance, and achievements. We are passionate about creating life-long learners by giving every student the very best help.Lively Minds Tutoring’s founder, Candace Heiken, has a master’s degree of education, a bachelor’s degree of psychology, and over fifteen years of tutoring experience. While she enjoys being in the classroom, her true passion is working with students individually. She is also the mother of four school-aged children which has given her insight into the true uniqueness of children.
