I used Lost Winds Electrical and will be filing a complaint with the CSLB.
The sharp talking owner Peter mislead be about their capabilities and disappeared. During the course of the job, they:
- attempted to sneak in second hand parts instead of new.
- did not know how to program the light system they had supplied.
- had to redo work 3 times to try and get it right.
- they charge a high price for qualified tradesmen, but send in untrained and unskilled men
- they wired the smoke alarm systems in breach of the codes (that they dont know) and caused our inspection with the City of Los Angeles to fail.
- left new equipment scattered around the job site so it got lost and damaged
- took money in advance for materials that they then supplied many months late
- ran away when they failed to complete the job but still had the audacity to charge for work they had not done and done wrong.
USE THEM AT YOUR OWN PERIL. I wish I had been warned.
I hope somebody learns from our mistake.
