A friend of mine who lives in Westlake Hills recommended we go to this place last week. In short, the food is absolutely terrible and here is why.
PROS
-I thought it was the only Chinese restaurant in the area (Update: until I discovered "Chinatown" restaurant less than a few blocks down beecaves! Food at Chinatown is actually my favorite Chinese restaurant in Austin)
CONS
-The interior is rundown and the place has a strange smell (that put my party off of their food)
-The staff are rude, unfriendly, and unattentive
-Everything comes with "brown sauce" and so different dishes blend into one another and taste too similar
-The fried items taste really dry as they are over cooked
-The rice was soggy (can't even get rice right??)
Once I told my friend about how terrible I thought this place was, he agreed that he only liked it because he thought it was convenient. I would definitely not go back and would not be surprised if their food is unsanitary. If the dining room is anything to go by, I wouldn't be surprised if this is reflective of how they handle their food.
