MacRooter is a drain cleaning and sewer relining company. The company services Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, Will and Kendall Counties.

MacRooter employs the Scottish theme of a man in kilt, celebrating the city of Chicago's first Scottish plumber, Alexander Raffen. As the city grew and the meat markets were pumping waste into Lake Michigan, Raffen and 600 Irish plumbers built the city's sewer system, which quickly became the top in the country. Between the new sanitation and trading this is what led to Chicago's large population. MacRooter maintains these sewer systems in the same tradition.
