Business description

Makeda's Homemade Butter Cookies is a family owned cookie bakery in Memphis Tn. Est 1999. Over 15 different types of cookies, freshly baked daily.

Makeda's Homemade Butter Cookies has two locations in Memphis Tn. 2370 Airways (9017452667) 6063 Winchester(9013678779) Makeda's was founded in 1999 by 3 couples, all related. However, only one of the couples held on to the dream, Maurice and Pamela Hill. They have been baking since 1999, they've had as many as 4 stores but like many businesses, 1 of the stores did not survive the economic conditions of the country. Their daughter, Tamika Heard, opened a 4 location in 2010, and she closed her doors a year later. She does have plans to return to the Midtown area so be on the look out for more information on that. Makeda's Cookies has a large following and we're looking to increase that following this year. Online orders are available. All cookies are baked fresh daily and made with love;
