Business description

Largest U.S. supplier of manganese. Also supplying AR400 & AR500 wear plate steel to mining, quarry & construction industries.

Manganal supplies manganese steel, a very unique steel. We sell manganese plate and bars as well as custom fabricated manganese parts. Manganese "work-hardens", gets harder, from impact with other hard items such as steel and rock. It will work from a Brinell hardness of 200 up 600. This quality extends the wear life of critical parts. It's used on railroad tracks and track switches getting harder from the impact of steel train wheels. It's used in mine & quarry crushers, getting harder from crushing rock. It's used in shot blast cabinets, getting harder from steel shot & pellet impact. It's used anywhere there is heavy & hard impact impact. We also sell AR (abrasion resistant) wear plate, AR400 & AR500, as well as AR400 wear bars, used to protect and rebuild heavy equipment.
