The company has been a pioneer since the 1800's, starting with the sale of fragrances. Avon has consistently and scientifically approached the development of beauty aids by creating it's own laboratory very early on. The goal of the company has always been threefold: (1) provide quality products, (2) at a reasonable price, (3) while at the same time being a source of employment and income for women.
