Business description

Customized medication storage kit for children with food allergies or asthma

Food allergies affect up to 6% of young children in the country while asthma remains the most chronic childhood disease, with numbers growing each year. Fatal anaphylactic reactions have occurred in schools and were primarily attributed to delays in administration of emergency medications. With the incidence of chronic childhood diseases increasing and the reduction of supervisory medical staff on hand in many schools, Medpax provides assurance that for each child, there is complete information on hand for any emergency.Medpax was launched in May, 2011. It is a new line of medication kits for food allergy and/or asthma manufactured in the United States. Invented by a mom and designed by a pediatrican, Medpax was created by Reshma Shah, M.D. of Shaker Heights, Ohio.
