MIPT is a non-profit, Department of Homeland Security funded police training center adjacent to the Oklahoma City National Memorial.

MIPT provides innovative training to the line officer through a series of training sessions called InCOP (sm), an acronym for Information Collection on Patrol. The training can be delieverd at roll call, as a part of an annual inservice cycle and as a component of academy training. MIPT collaborates with the trainers and command staff of the agency to tailor the training to unique crime problems,information sharing environment and policing model. There is no charge to qualifying agencies.
