In January 2012, Mayor A C Wharton and the Memphis City Council conceptualized a coordinated strategy for the city agenda relating to minority and women-owned business development. That strategy grew to become the Memphis Office of Resources and Enterprise, a resource agency that is designed to grow businesses by connecting business resources and opportunities.MORE is here to help grow minority and women-owned businesses in Memphis, TN. We are a portal; we are an access of resources, and we are a bridge to partnering organizations for the clients of MORE. Together we will move forward and make Memphis a city of choice for all. Through advocacy, referral, and assistance, growing MORE opportunities, growing MORE entrepreneurs, growing MORE jobs, the MORE you know, the MORE the sky becomes your limit. MORE is a facilitator.The purpose of MORE is to assess what the clients need to take their business to the next level and direct them accordingly to the right resources.
