Metropolis Design is a full-service product development firm offering Conceptual and Mechanical Design using SolidWorks and Reverse Engineering with our Konica-Minolta Vivid 910. We have a robust prototyping facility in house with rapid prototyping, CNC machining, and a full model studio. Our technologies include: -- SLA machines (with very durable DMX-SL 100 resin and the clear Watershed XC resin) -- Eden Objet 3D Printer--the highest resolution prototyping machine available (with rigid and elastomeric resins) -- Thee-axis vertical CNC mills -- Mori-Seiki NL 2500 Turning Center with live tooling and powered sub-spindle -- RTV mold building for producing urethane castings that replicate injection molded plastics -- Painting facility
