Business description

MicroSense designs and builds precision capacitive position sensors and vibrating sample magnetometers.

Originally founded in 1967, our capacitive sensor business was originally known as ADE Corporation. MicroSense specializes in high resolution capacitive sensors for position and displacement measurement. Based on patented capacitance sensing technology, our position sensors make very precise, high bandwidth dimensional measurements of precision products such as hard disk drive motors, air bearing spindles and precision X-Y stages. MicroSense capacitive displacement sensors provide the highest resolution in the industry, less than 0.05 nanometers, with virtually unlimited service life. MicroSense is the leading supplier of high sensitivity Vibrating Sample Magnetometers for magnetic measurement. Our vibrating sample magnetometers are the most sensitive available.
