Microwatt Applications supplies standard and custom devices with many element sizes, window selections, electronic configurations and packaging.

Although originally established in 1986 to design and manufacture Pyroelectric Detectors based on PVDF Plastic films for use low cost motion sensor applications, we operated as a consultancy until 2009 when we entered the market as a source for high-end DLATGS and LTO devices primarily used in FTIR instruments. MWA's modern facility includes all the materials processing equipment including Vacuum Processing, Chip Dicing and Thinning, applications of Metal Blacks (Gold Black) onto the active areas and In-process test equipment verifies performance parameters. In addition MWA's operation supports a complete in-house Hybridized Electronics capability including Chip Placement, Wire Bonding, SMT, Hermetic sealing, and all required infrastructure.
