Private cattle ranch five miles long by 2.7 (average) miles wide containing most of . Given to Kent T Carter by his father Theodore Roosevelt Carter.
The ranch is located four miles east of the town of Long Creek on Grant County 18 (now named Kenney Forks Road, (why I'll never know cause there is no Keeney Forks). In 1990, T R died, Kent took it over for thirteen years till what is said to be the hottest fire in Grant County's history took the house and four generatons of belongings. State regulations would not allow Kent to rebuilt the house.
