I used Moss Backhoe to put in a brand new septic system at a property I have. They installed everything and I paid them in full. They were supposed to cover the risers to the septic system (risers are where you gain access to pump the tank when full…big concrete blocks above ground). They needed to be covered for safety reasons especially when there are kids and dogs which was the case. They did not cover them and less than 2 weeks later with rain huge sink holes opened up beside the septic system. I called several times to try and get them to come out to cover the risers and fill in the sink holes but they never returned my calls. The county inspector also came out called them and while I was listening told them to come out and fix the situation or it could cause me problems with my septic in the future.They told him they would come out but never did.I had to take them to court and sue them. Of course I won the judgement but not before the extra expense of buying fencing to put around the sink holes and risers to keep everyone safe and paying to bring everyone to court. I am writing this to keep anyone else from having to go through the same or worse.
