Since 1987, Murus has been manufacturing structural insulated panels (SIPs) for residential and light commercial construction applications. Murus is the only company to offer all three foam core materials. R-values range from R-16 to R-57. The Murus Polyurethane SIP incorporates a unique, patented cam-lock system that when used in conjunction with the panel's molded tongue and groove edge profile, creates a uniform, positive seal between panels. The Murus EPS SIP is a competitively priced alternative to conventional stick framing, using plywood key splines for joing panels together. The Murus XPS SIP is an excellent alternative to EPS, where higher R-values and thinner cross-sections are required, and budget considerations are not a priority. Murus SIPs are ENERGY STAR qualified.
