In June 2007, in the northern reaches of Down East Maine, we at Northern Tides opened our doors. Founded on a strong belief in fine artisan-made one-of-a-kind art and fine crafts, Made in Maine, and in "shop local," we searched out and continue to offer some of the best and most creative art and artisan craft that coastal Maine and the Canadian Maritimes has to offer. Please drop by for a cup of coffee if you're in the neighborhood! In the meantime, we hope that we can share a bit of our love of this land through our artists' vision. We are so pleased that 30 New Artisans have joined Northern Tides for 2011. We'll be adding their art here as it arrives. Our storefront will re-open for Mother's Day, but you can order from our website at any time! It's going to be a colorful year.
