Fully-accredited and certified vocational degree-granting school that teaches adults how to build and repair traditional and composite wooden boats.

We build boatbuilders! We are accredited and certified to teach year-long courses and award vocational degrees in Traditional Large Craft Construction, Traditional Small Craft construction, and Contemporary Wood-composite Construction. We are also accredited to teach a three-month course in Sailmaking and Rigging. We build traditional and contemporary wooden boats to 65 feet in length that meet our educational requirements. Our graduates have been successful across a wide range of boatbuilding, repair, museum, and other pursuits including tall ship and cruising sail making and rigging. Celebrating our 32nd year in 2012.
