I started out just trying to help my own son, who is dyslexic. As I homeschooled him, I began learning more and more about dyslexia and Orton-Gillingham methods. Later, I received my formal training from the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. Many tutoring services are simply out-of-reach financially for parents. By tutoring from my home office, I am able to keep my tutoring services affordable. I work one-on-one with my students, customizing their lessons according to their needs. Orton-Gillingham reading therapy is proven by research to be effective in remediating children with dyslexia! I've already seen great progress in the students I tutor.
