OASIS stands for Orcutt Area Seniors In Service, Inc. Since 1984 OASIS, Inc. has served as a premier senior advocate agency for Northern Santa Barbara
OASIS, Inc. The Luis Oasis Senior Center is operated by the Orcutt Area Seniors In Service, Inc. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. We provide commodities distribution (free food for qualifying members), a daily lunch program, homeowners and renters tax aid, PACE, and more. In collaboration with Allan Hancock Community College we host classes in senior aerobics, yoga, painting, drawing, etc, and groups for bereavement support, such as ceramics, creative card making, the Oasis Ukulele Band, etc. We also encourage local groups to use the center as a meeting place for potlucks, special events and fund raisers.
