OurDesigns is the world's largest retailer of gifts and accessories for Fire Service, EMS, and police officers. OurDesigns sells firefighter gifts, such as firefighter decals, fire fighter clothing, firefighter knives, firefighter artwork, and firefighter badges. OurDesigns began as a family-owned business. In 1971, EMS instructor and OurDesigns founder Ralph Daugherty and his wife Carol designed conservative firefighter belt buckles that Ralph could wear as a public accountant and corporate controller. Carol, a talented cross-stitcher, added several pieces of stitchery to the line. Seeing local success with their products, Ralph and Carol expanded to a mail-order business in 1981.
