Paint Nite is a one-of-a-kind event popping up all over Raleigh bars and restaurants. At each "nite," a skilled artist teaches participants how to recreate a particular painting from start to finish. During the two-hour instruction, you're free to enjoy a drink or two and the company around you-no stuffy classroom or boring lecture to stifle your creativity. And since all the necessary tools (easel, canvas, brushes, aprons, and so forth) are provided for you, you don't need to bring much more than yourself and a good attitude. Afterward, you can hang your painting at home to remind you of your fun night-and to inspire your next masterpiece.
