We are a privately held company in Tucson, AZ proudly doing business for 46 years.

Patio Pools was founded by Gene Ragel Sr. in 1969. It’s a family-owned and still operated by the Ragel family with three generations in the company. We are the largest and most trusted pool builder in Southern Arizona for more than 45 years. We specialize in designing and building custom pools and spas, remodeling and renovations, and full backyard designs. We have four retail stores in Tucson and one in Sierra Vista that provides swimwear and accessories, patio furniture, and pool and spa chemicals. We also have a full service department that specializes in pool cleaning, pool and spa servicing, repairs and renovations. Additionally, we are a proud member of the internationally-recognized Master Pools Guild and we are Southern Arizona’s only member. We have won more than 125 national and international awards from Master Pools Guild, Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, Pebble Technology and many more. We are also the only pool builder in Southern Arizona that has full retail and service departments.
