NATURALIST WINEMAKING At Pleasant View Vineyards we create Naturalist wines, where we rely solely on the grape and its seasonal differences that ultimately produce each year fine wines without the use of sulfites, enzymes, additives or sugar. Our fermentation naturally happens and the wines aging and mellowing comes from resting within sustainable untreated French oak barrels. As Naturalist winemakers we are pragmatists not zealots and simply assist nature in creating the fine wines that come from grapes that have been nurtured and cared for within our high altitude Colorado Vineyard. The concept is simple and has been that way for more than a thousand years.
