After over 30 years of smoking we decided to try another alternative. After our first day of vaping we gave up cigarettes. The biggest advantage to us besides the health issues was the cost. What cost us combined over $450 a month, now cost us less than $40! Like many of you with children and a home, the money that cigarettes cost had become unsustainable. As excited as we were to have a new to way to enjoy nicotine we were full of questions and found that time after time Vape and e-cig stores offered nothing more than a local place to pick up hardware and liquids. No real understanding or willingness to help us better navigate this new world we had entered. Which is a shame because we are loyal to those businesses that provide us with enough information to make a choice not just make a sale. With no choice but trial and error, oh and a fair bit of money in different hardware, we waded into it. Clerks wouldn't mention maintenance, or life span, or issues we were likely to face with one type over another. Noone seemed to believe in their product to stand behind it. Most warranties were over once you left the building. We believed in Vaping so much that we started Pythein Vapors. Pythein (pith-ee-in) is the name the ancient greeks gave to the Oracle of Delphi. The answers to the questions were to be found at the oracle. We didn't have to think about how to smoke a cigarette and we didn't want to think to much about how to vape. Vaping should be simple - that means that there should be minimal maintenance and simple to use equipment. We don't carry a thousand different types - we choose the ones that are simple and work. Knowledge of how the equipment worked and how to take care of it was equally important. We should get the full experience with each vape. And quality - we have extensively tested all our equipment and stand behind it. We choose quality hardware so that we could do just that. Please, ask the other guy what his warranty is!! Ours start at one month against defect or failure due to normal use. And because we choose quality we don't have to replace too many items. Lets be honest - we LIKED smoking. What we didn't like was the stigma and health risks that came with the nearly 4000 chemicals and poisons that cigarettes contain. We didn't like the cost. There is an alternative to smoking.
