R E Welch Gallery begins this season glowing after being voted Best Art Gallery in Palm Desert by Desert Magazine readers two years in a row. This acknowledgement of Welch Gallery's fine stable of international artists was recieved as icing on the cake by owners Ronald Welch and David Roberts. Their French sculpture artist, Jean-Louis Corby's Danseur was also declared the clear winner of the El Paseo International Exhibition in 2008. Danseur received an overwhelming percentage of the public's vote. This stunning example of Corby's work has been placed in front of the Palm Desert Civic Center.
