R Jorgensen Antiques, located just 70 miles north of Boston in Wells, Maine, R. Jorgensen offers one of New England's largest collections of fine period antiques. In the first building are a series of 5 large showrooms ranging from formal 18th century paneled rooms, to more rustic rooms with exposed beams, wide pine boards, and painted floors. Our second building, is a 40' x 80' two floor "long barn" with larger floor space for display. We like to encourage people to mix antiques of different styles, colors, forms, woods, and countries. Our showrooms reflect that mindset. You can always find country and formal, American and English, Indian and French, Mahogany, Walnut, Maple, and Pine, all thoughtfully displayed together, creating new exciting combinations.
