R. L. Galloway Surveying was founded in 1977 by Richard L. Galloway Sr. He started with small boundary surveys and physical surveys for owners in the private sector. Since that time R. L. Galloway Surveying has evolved into a fully functional surveying firm offering most aspects of the surveying industry. The company has grown from a single employee in a spare bedroom of a house, to a firm that employs three to four survey field crews, four draftsmen, and now operates out of their newly renovated office in Smithfield, Virginia. R. L. Galloway surveying has grown from a single transit company to an company that utilizes the benefits of total station speed and accuracy. We have also moved into the Robotic and GPS stages of the Surveying. With our Robotics, we can accurately and efficient
