I am a Doctor of Social Work (Univ of So Calif) & LCSW. My counseling is enriched by my education/training/faith & varied life experiences: Social Work Officer, Army psychiatric team, Vietnam (1968-69); 25 year VA leadership career, i.e., founding Director of (1) PTST Program, American Lake VA, Tacoma WA (1985-91) and (2) Nat'l Center for PTSD, Honolulu (1992-97); 13 year social work faculty, Univ of So. Mississippi (1998-2012) -- 15 awards for teaching & service. Awarded both the Mississippi & National 2012 Lifetime Achievement Awards by Nati'l Association of Social Work; author of 6 books.
