In 1993 the company became Goldschmidt Industrial Chemical Corporation with the sale of Pitt Metals to Th. Goldschmidt, AG, Essen, Germany which was subsequently acquired by Evonik. As of December 2006, Goldschmidt became an independent company, fully owned by management. The name was changed to Reaxis in March 2008. The technical staff at Reaxis has extensive experience and versatility in developing a wide range of standard and specialty products based on inorganic and organometallic chemistries.
