About Us! Shopping for spices in Alaska was more than a minor challenge to me, it was sheer agony. After all, the main dish of my smashing dinner party always seemed to be totally dependent on that one special spice that could only be obtained in time via overnight shipping...which would work out to about $18 an ounce! Of course I was too busy crying about it to even consider paying that price.
