We mainly grow grafted conifers and Japanese maples. All of our trees are B&B (Ball and Burlap) and range in size from 3' to 20'. We graft under stock in 3.5" X 3.5" bands for one year. Next, we plant these trees in beds in our shade houses for 2 years. When we take the liners out of the shade house, we root prune them before being field planted. To get the 8' to 20' sizes we transplant at 7 to 10 years of age, or 5' to 7' in size. We grow under drip irrigation, and continuously prune and train all trees to get a top quality product. We work to grow top quality Douglas, Grand, Noble, and Nordman fir Christmas trees. Every tree on our farm is carefully looked at to ensure its development into a quality Christmas tree.
