Rose Pak worked ten years for Nordstrom. She was in charge of Men's Alterations at Anchorage Nordstrom when she opened her own business in 1999. Since then, she has specialized in alterations for wedding gowns, men's suits, specialty items and the creation of custom designs. She has been the chosen tailor for Miss Alaska USA since 2008. Her clients call her "professional, enthusiastic, creative, full of fun, capable..." She can do just about anything in tailoring, from putting a heavy-duty zipper into a parka designed for the North Slope to tapering a silk blouse or shirt that has to fit "just right."
