Rowanberry School

Rowanberry School is a home based preschool for children ages 3-6.

Early childhood is a magical time of delight, wonder, and joyful exploration. By providing a loving, safe environment, these essential qualities of a healthy childhood will develop and grow naturally. Rowanberry School strives to preserve the wonder and magic of this sacred time, and to nurture the young child's emerging sense of self. Our core influences come from the Waldorf kindergarten, (children's garden) and the progressive early childhood programs of Reggio Emilia, Italy. Waldorf education supports the child with a holding that carries him through his day rhythmically, with story, song and movement. The Reggio approach supports the child's intellectual and creative development through in-depth interdisciplinary studies, or inquiries. We are a state certified childcare provider.
