Business description

Salt Lake Running Company

Salt Lake Running Company has been keeping Utah's runners happy and running since 1995. Originally named Sporting Soles, we changed our name to let you know that we're all about running. That means our staff, our products, our programs and our customer support are all about supporting you in the sport. Our staff is comprised of some of the most enthusiastic and accomplished runners around. Owners Guy and Debbie Perry have assembled a staff of runners who are knowledgeable about anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and nutrition. In addition, we have experience in coaching, training and retail. Ongoing training ensures that we stay on top of the latest innovations in running shoes and apparel. Because we're all runners, you're likely to see us running along your favorite routes or in local races. While we have experience running both track and cross country in high school and college, most of us are equally comfortable running with baby joggers and dogs these days. We also enjoy participating in 5k's to marathons and even triathlons. Our products are chosen to support you in your running. We carry running shoes, socks, insoles, apparel, nutritional supplements, gels, hydration equipment, running books and more. We see running as a life-long endeavor. When we sell you a pair of shoes, we think about your needs as a runner- your stride, your foot strike, your foot dimensions and the terrain you cover.
