Reviews for Salvation Army Service Extension

I went to ask for help this was my first time I have ever been to the Salvation Army to ask for help, the treatment I got was not good . In short of being called a liar about the help I needed I was told that I should give what little money I had to my bill, but the thing was I had other bills not just one that why I was there , all the years I have gave to the army because I had it to give and the first time I ask for help I was treated so bad I left in tears I was alright feeling pretty low but by the time I left I was Even lower with myself I have never been so belittle the experience was not a warm helping feeling she did make a call to my landlord so thank you for that . But all this time I always thought that you was to help people down on there luck I will always continue to give like I do ever year and I hope the next person that needs help will not be judged. They did give me some food but then as soon as we got to my car she told me that I should sale it and buy something cheaper so once again feeling very small and belittle. For my first experience with the army was not a good one at all hope she gets to having a better day with her job . I do want to say thank you any way God bless
