Santera Tequila hails from the heart of Mexico's most prime blue agave growing and Tequila producing region: Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico.
The artisan distillery continues to practice customary distillation methods dating back hundreds of years combined with state-of-the-art attributes. Acute techniques are utilized to perfect "softer" flavor profiles that are smoother and pleasant while minimizing the "burn" common with most brands. This creates refined tequila that can be sipped and enjoyed like a fine wine instead of the passe style of a rushed shot combined with lime and salt. Santera Tequila's unique recipe produces a Blanco (aged 8 months), Reposado (aged 16 months), and an Anejo (aged 22 months), that are kept in white oak barrels during their respective aging cycle. The quality of the tequila is equally as important as the quality of what encases it.
