Dr. Falci is a board certified neurosurgeon and graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He received his undergraduate training at Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey. Dr. Falci initiated and designed the First Transplantation of Embryonic Nerve Cells for Spinal Cord Injury Project at Craig Center for Spinal Cord Research in collaboration with the Spinalis SCI Research Unit, Karolinska Institute, Huddinge University Hospital, Stockholm, and the department of Neurosurgery, University of Uppsala in Sweden. (J. of Neurotrauma, Vol. 14, No. 11, November, 1997). Dr. Falci has several ongoing research projects in addition to his active neurosurgical practice.
