YOU MUST READ THIS! After a recommendation from our grader, we hired Scott and company for a very tidy sum of money to hydro-seed our graded land where a new home was completed. They came very promptly and did the seeding, leaving us wiith instructions regarding when to first mow. We followed exactly. Grass started growing beautifully. However, the problem occured when we had a problem. Within four weeks, two thirds of the grass areas suddenly died. Three different tanks of hydro-seed were used. We had rain and the land had been watered. We were pretty horrified when most of the grass died. So we called twice to ask him to come and see what he thought the reason could be why it died where the two tanks were spread. He said he would "try" to come out but was pretty "busy" and never called or showed. Then fall and winter came. So in the Spring, we called the grader who recommended him and asked if he could intervene and get Scott to come to just assess what needed to be done. The grader also got no return calls! We have never had to write a review like this and we don't like to, but we feel we have no recourse. It is bad enough to spend a pretty penny to hydro-seed and then to have it die within four weeks. That is one thing. But, then to have no one even bother to return calls or come out and see what the problem might be is VERY POOR SERVICE. (In this case, NO SERVICE AT ALL) ANYONE wishing to use them should RE-THINK their plan. We would NOT RECOMMEND them for any reason!
