SetMeUp launched its web app on November 1, 2013, and reached 20k users in the first two months.

SetMeUp is a crowd-sourced date suggestion platform for both singles and people in relationships. We curate your date ideas by leveraging OpenTable, Groupon, LivingSocial, and Amazon, and then map suggestions against the Social Graph API to find the trendiest date spots in your area. You are connected to new people through mutual friend introductions, so you can authenticate each person and trust them when you meet them for the first time. Our proprietary algorithms pull data from over 60 million profiles stored in our system. Our secret sauce is in how we leverage data to make introductions within each social circle, and then recommend date suggestions based on common interests, likes, and checkins.
