The Chamber's mission is to encourage and maintain a vibrant business community, promote tourism and facilitate economic development.

Incorporated over 90 years ago, the Shelton Mason County Chamber of Commerce is the oldest business association in Mason County, dating back to 1922. The Chamber's mission is to encourage and maintain a vibrant business community, promote tourism and facilitate economic development. Today the Chamber serves its mission through acting as an economic developer and planner, tourist information center, business spokesperson, economic counselor and teacher, government relations specialist, human resources advisor and public relations practitioner. The Chamber's members elect a Board of Trustees whom determine policies and sets goals. The daily operations are handled by the executive director, an employee working jointly will the Board to support the mission and to implement Board directives.
