Born in Richmond, Virginia, Steven Shires first became enamored with photography about the age of 10. Shires taught elementary school â?? and later, â??retiredâ? to Key West for 3 years. Realizing there was still the desire to learn about photography, he enrolled in The Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale in 1992.With an Associateâ??s Degree in Photography, Steven worked as a custom color printer in a lab. He has traveled to Banos, Ecuador;Havana, Cuba; Ponce, Puerto Rico; Helen, Ga. and Denver, Co. for clients. Steven joined the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce in 2008. He joined the BPG, the Business Professional Group in 2009. His clientele continues to grow, and maintain itâ??s diversity.
