Piedra Learning Community is an alternative school for children K-3 and offers small classrooms, individual learning plans, occupational therapy support and a safe, successful environment. Skills for Living and Learning offers occupational therapy for preschool age children in the morning and for elementary age children after school during trhe school year and an 8 week summer program. Staff is trained in strategies and techniques to work with children with sensory processing disorder, ADD/HD, PDD, Autism and other learning and developmental challenges. Initial evaluation/consults are at no charge. Medicaid/Insurance may cover therapy costs.
