In August 2007, we realized that the community and the city we grew up in was in desperate need of a quality photography service. In 2005 Hurricane Katrina destroyed the city of Slidell and New Orleans. This did not stop home owners from rebuilding and with in two years the city of Slidell had become one of Louisiana's fastest growing communities. However, most of the residents in Slidell had lost all of their photographs of their children and special moments. To compound matters, there was a shortage of qualified photographers to meet the needs of all the new residents. Celebrations and special moments were taking place in the city and very few photographers were photographing them. we realized that there was a need that was not being addressed and we formed Slidell Photography
