Solid Ground Farm is dedicated to living and sharing sustainable, off-grid, permaculture inspired strategies to farming, homesteading, and building community. We offer sustainable education workshops, tours, and special events, covering topics from permaculture design to natural building to forest gardening to livestock management to aquaponics to traditional farming. Additionally we offer youth outdoor education and exploration summer camps and special events. Our goal is to make Athens, Ohio the destination for sustainable education, tourism, and special events. From organized homestead and sustainable living tours to two week permaculture design certificate courses, we have a sustainable adventure for everyone.
