Business description
For almost 30 years Sourdoughs International has been suppling authentic bread natural leavnes for home bakers and baking companies worldwide.
Ed and Jean Wood traveled the world in search for true sourdough cultures. They have since collected 17 uniques and delicious varieties. The National Geographic Society sent the two of them to Giza (Egypt) to discover how Egyptians baked man's first leavend bread in about 4,500 BC. After two exciting weeks they were able to collect a wild yeast which they named "Giza." The story (After 4,500 Years Rediscovering Egypt's Bread-Baking Technology) was featured in National Geographic, January, 1995. Sourdoughs International recieves orders as far away as Russia to South Africa.
