Kimberly Bierschwale, MS, CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech-Language-Pathologist, who specializes in Outpatient Adult Rehabilitation. Kimberly works in conjunction with Backway's Physical Therapy. As a Speech Therapist, KImberly works with adults who have difficluty with communication due to voice, language, cognitive (i.e., memory, problem solving, reasoning, etc.), and/or speech deficits. Speech therapy also addresses deficits related to feeding and swallowing. The problems can be a result of neurological diseases and conditions (i.e., strokes, head injury, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, ALS, MS, etc.), breathing problems, head and neck cancer, vocal cord injury, severe or long-term illness, or various unknown causes. Medicare and most major insurances are accepted.
