Stars - NMx Stars Dance Team

Stars Dance Center is home to the award-winning NMx [New Mexico] Stars Dance Team. NMx is an affiliate of the Stars National Dance Program.

At NMx we help our dancers to be positive and productive citizens, we teach important life skills and provide a quality dance program. Numerous studies have shown that children that participate in dance receive higher grades, are more disciplined, have a higher sense of self-respect, self-esteem and self-confidence. The Stars Program teaches goal-setting, teamwork, commitment, and community involvement. NMx instructors have years of experience and receive on-going training in the latest dance techniques to improve dance skill and injury prevention each year. We believe that every student should be supported, encouraged and allowed to SHINE! Our Program is available to dancers as young as three and continues to young adult, beginners to advance levels, and both girls and boys. Class
