I began my irrigation career in 1986 with two golf course construction companies. I was involved in all phases of golf course irrigation on twelve PGA courses in seven states. Designers include Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicholas and Thomas Fazio. After Karen and I married and stated a family we settled in the Birmingham Al. area and joined The Nelson Team Irrigation Co. There I became a supervisor on large scale commercial projects like sports fields, shopping centers and Hoover High School. In 1995 we moved to Fairhope Al. and started Steven Curtis Irrigation Services. Over the last 19 years I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best home designers and landscape designers in the state.
